‘Rehabilitation of the veterinary neurological patient’

Background
Physiovet/BVRSMA presents a one-day symposium dedicated to the rehabilitation of veterinary neurological patients. These patients represent some of those most urgently in need of the increasingly available rehabilitation knowledge and facilities in the veterinary world, yet often receive little or no treatment especially in the important early stages of their illness or injury. This symposium brings delegates from the neurological, surgical and rehabilitation fields together to learn more about current understanding, principles and techniques used in maximising the return to function of neurological patients.

• 14.00-15.00 Talk ‘Rehabilitating the Veterinary Neurological Patient’ Barbara Houlding MSc Vet Phys, Grad Dip Phys, MCSP, ACPAT (Cat.A)
• 15.00-15.15 Break; tea/coffee
• 15.15-16.00 Talk ‘Practical Approach to a Veterinary Neurological Rehabilitation case’ Barbara Houlding MSc Vet Phys, Grad Dip Phys, MCSP, ACPAT (Cat.A)

Registration
Places at the rehabilitation symposium are limited to 30 delegates and will be allotted on a first come, first served basis. The cost is £150 per delegate, to include all presentations, lunch and refreshments.

Payment must be made in full at the time of booking by cheque made payable to ‘Physiovet’. Receipt and confirmation of place will be confirmed by post. Delegates from outside the UK are welcome to contact Rhona (see below) for information on payment by electronic transfer. Unfortunately we are not able to accept electronic registration for the rehabilitation day even for delegates participating in the full ECVN/ESVN symposium.

Refunds and changes of delegate name will only be made at the discretion of Physiovet and if granted may incur an administration charge.
